Brandon attended Northwestern State and had a batting average of .360 with 8 HRs and 50 RBIs. This is his third season with the Millionaires. In 2007 his batting average was .331 and in 2008. He hit at a .336 pace. Brandon is a two time all star. He has been very consistent player for the Blue and White.

Cortney originally comes from Montgomery, AL via Jackson State. This will be the lefty’s first season with the Millionaires.

Hometown: Tecumseh, ON
Paul is originally from Tecumseh, Ontario. He led Wayne state university with a .347 batting average, and led Blue Ridge with a .387 batting average.

Matt resides in Santa Clarita CA and plays at Cal State Northridge as a utility player. Matt hit .396 last year with the Millionaires and will be the starting 3rd basemen once again.

Coty brings a strong arm to the Millionaires and will eat up lots of innings. Signed with Delta State for 2010 season.

Bert returns for the 2nd year from Northwood University in Texas and will anchor the shortstop position.

Matt returns to Melville for the 3rd year after posting a 5.40 ERA in the WMBL in 2008. Matt had 22K’s to only 8 walks in 30 innings last summer.

Mike is a starting pitcher for San Diego City College. He had a 3.84 ERA in 68 innings. Mike will challenge the opposition hitters in the WMBL.

Ray played under Terry Puhl in 2008 and 2009. He has a combined record of 19 wins and 2 losses. He pitched 141 innings and had a ERA of 2.53 with 180 strikeouts. He knows how to pitch and will be a starting pitcher for the Millionaires in 2009.

Marquise posted a 7/4 record with a 3.60 ERA in 80 innings for Jackson State University in 2009. He will be joining the Mils on July 1st for our pennant run.

Jordan is returning to the Millionaires after taking time to further his career. In 2005 he had a .393 batting average, third best in the WMBL. He is planning to get back to that level.

Jamaal hit .345 for Jackson State in 2009. This summer will be his first in Melville and he is a welcomed addition behind the plate for the Millionaires.

#27 Kyle Chandler

Kyle was the ace of the Medicine Hat Mavericks in 2008 but is following Coach Greene to Melville where they hope to win a WMBL championship. Kyle had a 4.99 ERA, appearing 15 times in 79 innings for the Mavericks.

Ben played for Ray Chadwick at Thompson River College in Kamloops BC. Ben brings sound defence and a .289 BA to the 2009 Millionaires.

Sean returns to the Millionaires for the 2009 season as an infielder and pitcher. He had a very successful season hitting .270 with a 4.11 ERA in the WMBL.

James Played under Terry Puhl at the University of Houston Victoria. In 2008 he posted a .352 batting average with 9 HRs. This year he hit .349 and had 26 stolen bases. Coach Keller feels James with be solid top of the line-up hitter.

Josh returns for the fourth year to the Millionaires. He hit .308 with 9 home runs in 2008. He will play 1st base in 2009 and provide power in the middle of the batting order.

Kevin had a 4.76 ERA at D1 University at Buffalo in 16 appearances as the closer. In his senior year he played in the Michigan Allstar game.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Two-year letterwinner under head coach William Bolt where he helped lead the Bulldogs to two regional tournaments ... Won nine games at Texarkana and was the staff's ace in 2008 ... Named to the NJCAA All-Star Game as a sophomore after he struck out 58 batters in 65 innings and posted a 3.46 ERA, the lowest amongst the team's starting pitchers ... Finished the 2008 season with a 5-4 record in 15 appearances and 11 starts ... Ranked third in the nation as a freshman in strikeouts to innings pitched with 69 Ks in 51 frames ...Posted a 4-2 mark in 20 appearances ... Team was the National Junior College Athletics Association Region XIV runner-up in 2007. Jason is joining the Millionaires as an injury replacement.

Justin had a regular season 4.05 ERA for Mississippi Valley and a 3.27 ERA for Sherwood Park in the WMBL 2008. He brings another lefty to the pitching staff.
Head Coach Garnet Keller
Garnet is a veteran head coach for the Millionaires. Garnet has been involved with the Atlanta Braves, attending coaching symposiums. He has also been part of provincial, Western Canadian and National championship teams as a player and coach. Garnet is a student of the game who brings extensive knowledge and motivation to the Mils organization. In addition to managing the club, Garnet is also responsible for the recruitment of players, and is well known throughout the baseball world.
Assistan Coach Mike Greene
The Millionaires are proud to have Mike Greene (Head Coach of the Medicine Hat Mavericks in 2008) joining the team this season. Mike is an assistant Coach at D1 Mississippi Valley State after coaching Jr. College at St. Clair, Mich., Blue Ridge N.C. and Shoreline College in Washington. Mike is excited to make Melville his home this summer and promises the team will be exciting.
