Melville Millionaires. - With the start of the 2010 Spring Training just days away, another Millionaire Baseball alum will find his name on a professional roster as recent graduate P.J. Rousey becomes the second member of the Millionaires to sign a contract with the Los Angeles Angels.

The La Crescenta Ca native finished the 2009 College season at Cal State Northridge  with 25 appearances and a 1.93 ERA in his 18.2 innings pitched.

The right-handed pitcher only gave up four earned runs and struck out nine, finishing his collegiate career at Northridge with All-Big West Conference honors as he was voted to the Honorable Mention team for his success on the mound.

"PJ Had a 2.99 ERA in 22  Innings with the 2008 Millionaires. We are proud of not only his Millionaire Baseball  performance, but also the adversity he has endured to get to this point having overcome multiple knee surgeries.

"It's good to see a guy like PJ get a chance in pro ball because he does not fit the typical profile of MLB signees. PJ strengths are: toughness, intelligence, and .he is calm and wants the ball in pressure situations. It’s great to have another  Millionaire Baseball player moving on to professional baseball."
