The Melville Millionaires are pleased to announce the signing of 8 additional players for the 2010 WMBL season.

Joshua Federico – Joshua is a 5-11 180 lbs shortstop from Windsor Ontario.  He is currently attending Oakland State University.  In 2009 Joshua played for Cleveland State University where he hit .304.  In 2007 Joshua won a Canadian National Championship with Veteran Millionaire Paul LaMantia.

Derek Howell – Derek is a 5-11 165 lb right-handed pitcher from Krum Texas.  Derek is currently pitching for the Seminole State Trojans.  So far this year Derek has appeared in 12 games with 24 strike-outs and a 3.48 era.  Derek was an all state shortstop in high school.

Wayland Moore – Wayland is a 6-3 198 lbs left-handed pitcher from McLoud Oklahoma.  Wayland is currently pitching for the Seminole State Trojans.  So far this year Wayland has appeared in 7 games with 9 strikeouts.  In 2009 Wayland was named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All State Team.

Mathias Bable – Mathias is a 6-1 185 lb right-handed pitcher from Darlington PA.  Mathias currently plays for Northern Colorado.  Prior to that Mathias pitched two years at Hill Junior College in Texas.

Tyler Lowey – Tyler is a 6-2 180 lbs first baseman from Calgary, Alberta.  He is a sophomore at Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia.  Last year Tyler’s team won the CCBC National Championship.  In 22 games so far this year, Tyler is hitting .394.  Tyler is looking forward to the upcoming summer in Melville.

Ryan Hasbini – Ryan is a 5-11 190 lb catcher from Tulsa Oklahoma.  He is a freshman currently attending North East Texas Community College.  In 24 games so far this season Ryan is hitting .265 with 14 runs scored and 11 rbi’s.  While in high school Ryan was an all Metro and all Conference catcher.

Corey Sartor – Corey is a 5-8 175 lb left handed pitcher from Euless Texas.  He is a junior currently attending Northwood University.  In 29 innings pitched this season, Corey has 35 strikeouts.  Corey was part of the National Championship team at Howard College in 2009.  Corey is a teammate of previously signed Kane Kimrey and Sean Ayala.

Kyle Barclay – Kyle is a 6-1 212 lbs outfielder from Brockville Ontario.  This will be Kyle’s second summer playing for the Millionaires.  Last summer Kyle hit .212 with 2 homeruns and 10 rbi’s.  Kyle possesses an extremely strong arm and will be relied upon for his veteran leadership.

The Millionaires are excited to be welcoming these 9 players to the City of Melville and the WMBL.
