The Melville Millionaires are proud to announce that Bric Steed will be the head coach of the Mils this summer. Bric is the Assistant Coach at Paris Jr College, Texas and enters his first year with the Dragons after spending the summer as head coach for the Dallas Stars baseball organization.
Steed spent two years with the Northeast Texas Community College program where he accumulated 18 wins in two years. His sophomore year he was 10-2 with a 1.98 ERA and voted First Team All-Conference, helping to lead the Eagles to a conference championship. From there Steed went on to play at the Division I level with the University of Texas at Arlington Mavericks.
Steed continued to the professional level, playing four years in the minor leagues where he was a two-time all-star. His best year came in 2006 when he was the Pitcher of the Year for the Edinburg Coyotes, winning the Era title in the United League and starting the all-star game.

Jones played college baseball at Paris Junior College where he hit .432 as a freshman and was a defensive catalyst for the Dragons. After a career ending injury, Jones started his coaching career at the age of 20 while working toward his degree at Texas State University. In
just his second season, Jones led the San Marcos Academy to its first post-season run in the 42 year history of the program.
For the past 3 seasons, Jones has been a head coach within the Alamo Heights organization and has worked with catchers and hitters within the greater San Antonio Area.
Outside of baseball, Jones is a well-decorated singer/songwriter, having performed with such acts as musical legend Jimmy Buffet, and country music stars Jack Ingram, Randy Rogers, The Eli Young Band, and many others.
